[뉴스핌=홍승훈기자] 미국 아멕스시장 상장업체인 렉산에 대한 퇴출우려가 제기되면서 9.6% 지분투자한 코스닥 엔알디가 가격제한폭까지 급락세를 보이고 있다.
2일 2시 50분 현재 엔알디는 전 거래일대비 하한가까지 밀려 14.95% 급락한 2765원에 거래되고 있다.
지난달 27일 보도된 미국 로크빌이란 비즈니스와이어에 따르면 렉산은 미국 증권선물거래소로부터 시가총액 미달 및 실적악화에 따른 지적을 받은 것으로 나타났다.
시가총액이 600만달러에 미치지 못하고 있다는 점과 최근 5년 연속 영업손실과 당기순손실을 기록했기 때문이다.
이에 상장을 유지하기 위해 렉산측은 오는 3월 24일까지 관련 대응방안에 대한 계획을 거래소측에 제출해야 한다.
한편 엔알디는 지난 2001년~2002년 렉산 지분을 매입했고 지난 2007년 말 증자 당시 일부 추가매입을 통해 총 20억원, 550만주를 투자한 것으로 나타났다.

Rexahn Pharmaceuticals Receives Notice from NYSE Alternext US LLC
ROCKVILLE, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Rexahn Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (AMEX: RNN), a leader in development of innovative therapeutics for life-threatening and life-debilitating diseases, today announced that on February 24, 2009, the Company was notified by the staff of the NYSE Alternext US LLC (the “Exchange”), formerly known as the American Stock Exchange, Inc., that the staff has determined, following a review of publicly available information, that the Company is not in compliance with Section 1003(a)(iii) of the NYSE Alternext Company Guide (the “Company Guide”) in that it has stockholder equity of less than $6 million and losses from continued operations and net losses in its five most recent fiscal years.
In order to maintain its listing, the Company must submit a plan by March 24, 2009 (the “Plan”) advising the Exchange of action it has taken or will take, that would bring it into compliance with the continued listing standards. Subject to the Plan being accepted by the Exchange, the Company would have up to August 24, 2010 to implement the Plan, during which time period the Company would be subject to periodic review to determine whether it is making progress consistent with the Plan. The Company has verbally informed the staff of the Exchange that it intends to make a timely submission to the Exchange of the Plan to resolving the listing deficiencies and to regaining its compliance with the Exchange's continued listing requirements.
