[뉴스핌=김사헌기자] 미국 주요 경제전문가들은 미국 경제가 내년 상반기까지는 단기적으로 둔화될 것으로 보지만 내년 연말까지는 다시 회복할 것으로 보고 있는 것으로 나타났다.
10일 필라델피아 연방준비은행이 발표한 반기 리빙스톤서베이에 따르면, 조사에 참여한 36명의 경제전문가들은 미국 경제가 올해 하반기 2.9% 성장한 뒤 내년 상반기에는 1.9%까지 둔화된 뒤 2008년 하반기에는 다시 2.8%로 회복될 것이란 시나리오를 제시했다.
지난 번 서베이와 비교할 때 올해 하반기 성장률 전망치는 3/4분기 약진으로 인해 0.3%포인트 높아진 반면, 내년 상반기까지 전망은 1%포인트 하향조정됐다.
실업률 전망은 올 연말 4.8%에서 내년 상반기말 5.0% 그리고 내년말 4.9%로 각각 예상됐다.
한편 이번 조사에서는 단기 인플레 전망도 악화됐다. 올해 인플레율 전망치가 2.6%에서 2.8%로 높아졌고, 내년 전망치는 2.3%에서 3.0%로 대폭 상향된 결과였다. 다만 2009년 소비자물가 상승률은 2.1%로 다시 완만해질 것이란 전망이다
또 단기 금리전망이 대폭 하향조정되기는 했지만,내년 말 및 내후년까지 다시 상승할 것이란 전망이 유지됐다.
10년물 재무증권 수익률 전망은 올해 말이 4.95%에서 4.25%로 내년 상반기말은 5.00%에서 4.41%로 낮아졌다. 그러나 2009년 말까지는 다시 5.00%를 회복한다는 전망이다.
